Bio
After I received a university degree in business, I followed my longtime passion for making pictures and I was educated in photography at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. I not only developed a sharp eye for detail, beauty and functionality, I fine-tuned my technical skills and also discovered a talent for making photographic subjects feel comfortable in front of the lens. Since launching my career, I have shot for People Magazine, Los Angeles Times Magazine, House Beautiful, Japan Vogue, Comcast Networks, NBC, TV Land, The Oprah Winfrey Network, The CW, Showtime, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, Bravo, AMC, MTV, TBWA\CHIAT\DAY, Ekadoo and many other clients. As a portrait photographer, I shoot many celebrities in their homes and favorite restaurants and my easy-going manner and great sense of humor puts everyone at ease-setting the groundwork for capturing the best images. I like photographing these stories because it allows me to show my creative side for shooting portraits and interiors in the same shots. Balancing the interior light and light on the subject is critical to making the shot a portrait first, while I also must show enough of the home to satisfy readers ‘voyeuristic tendencies.” In addition to editorial assignments, I shoot for advertising and my new passion dog photography. I am also a member of the Still Photographers Union with the Local 600 International Cinematographers Guild and I have experience with photographing episodic photography.
